Elon Musk's company X has been ordered to pay €550,000 to a former employee in Ireland who was fired after not responding to an email requiring them to commit to new working arrangements. The employee, who had been with the company since 2013, was given a day to agree to the new terms or accept a buyout. The Irish Workplace Relations Commission ruled that the employee's dismissal was unfair and that not clicking 'yes' to the email did not constitute a resignation. The case is one of several lawsuits alleging unfair treatment of Twitter employees since Musk's takeover.
