The Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller has been announced, featuring two Cortex-M33F cores, improved DMA, and enhanced PIO capabilities. The chip also supports external PSRAM and has variants with internal flash and more GPIOs. The author, who had early access to the RP2350, is impressed with the improvements and suggests that it could be a better alternative to the STM32H7. The RP2350 is used in the new Raspberry Pi Pico 2 board.
