Intel introduced the Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerator, designed to bring choice to the enterprise GenAI market with improved performance and scalability. The accelerator features a custom architecture with 64 AI-dedicated compute engines, 128GB of HBMe2 memory, and 3.7TB of memory bandwidth. It is expected to deliver significant performance improvements for training and inference tasks on leading GenAI models. The Intel Gaudi 3 accelerator will be available to original equipment manufacturers in the second quarter of 2024.
