A study found that 61 UK firms tried a 4-day workweek and after a year, 54 of them still have the policy, with over half declaring it permanent. The study was conducted by the think tank Autonomy, along with the 4-Day Week Campaign and 4 Day Week Global. The goal of the 4-day workweek is to completely remove the 5th day, rather than cramming the same amount of work into 4 days. The study's results suggest that the 4-day workweek can be successful without reducing productivity.
