The Haiku operating system has released its fourth beta version, R1/beta4, which includes improved hardware support, stability, and software ports. This release is the result of over a year and a half of work, with over 400 bugs and enhancement tickets resolved. The new version features improved HiDPI support, a flat decorator, and support for USB WiFi devices and NTFS filesystems. It also includes new software ports, such as GTK applications and GNU Emacs.
