A study examined autopsy findings of individuals who died unexpectedly after receiving anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination, finding evidence of myocarditis in some cases. The study aimed to characterize the histopathological features of vaccine-induced myocarditis. The findings suggest that myocarditis can be a potentially lethal complication following mRNA-based anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. The study's results may aid in diagnosing and monitoring cases of myocarditis after vaccination.
