What commenters say

• Some websites are starting to adopt unconventional UI designs, which may become more mainstream in the future. Websites with ZUIs are rare, but examples include Prezi presentations and certain online collaboration tools. The use of novel UIs can be both impressive and intuitive, but also potentially confusing or broken in certain browsers. Experimental websites can be hypnotic and engaging, but may not always work as intended. The complexity of modern web development can lead to overly abstracted and convoluted codebases. Abstraction is necessary for specialization and focus, but can also lead to inefficiencies and limitations. The pursuit of novel UIs and experimental web design can lead to new and innovative user experiences.
